WELCOME!We are a group of hard-of-hearing people in Salt Lake City, Utah, who share our experiences as we adapt to hearing loss. We welcome all people having an interest in this communication challenge.
Did you know that 10% of the American public is hard of hearing? We discuss coping skills, assistive listening equipment, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and our "amazing" experiences. Most of us grew up with at least some hearing, then our hearing became worse, but we choose to continue to live in a hearing world.
Our meeting room is equipped with a personal FM radio system so all can hear better. We also use CART technology, so that the spoken words are captioned and projected on a screen. Please come to our meetings at the Sanderson Community Center. Find us at
