Did you know that 10% of the American public is hard of hearing? As part of that group, we discuss coping skills, assistive listening equipment, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and our successes and challenges. Most of us grew up with at least some hearing, then our hearing became worse, but we choose to continue to live in a hearing world.
Our meeting room is equipped with a personal FM radio system so all can hear better. We also use CART technology, so that the spoken words are captioned and projected on a screen. Please come to our meetings at the Sanderson Community Center. Find us at
